Holcombe's men's 1sts put in a convincing display to overcome Harleston Magpies 4-1 and consolidate their place near the top of Conference East.

Dave Mathews (pictured) scored twice and Steve Waldron and Simon Ramsden grabbed the other goals before a late consolation for the visitors in Sunday's match.

The win kept Holcombe fourth in the table but 12 points behind runaway leaders Canterbury.
